This section covers the day-to-day work after a client is onboarded and licensed: the Managed Service Partner (MSP) team managing their client's workspace the same way the client’s own admins would. The articles below are still being written — for now, here’s what each one will cover:

  • Opening a client’s workspace — how to switch from the portal into a client’s workspace, and what each portal role can do inside.

  • Default settings for new clients — the settings template applied to every client workspace you create from the portal (note: it does not apply to clients who register through your signup link).

  • Managing teams and employees — adding employees, organizing teams, and adjusting tracking settings on behalf of a client.

  • Reports and insights — running productivity reports and dashboards for a client.

  • Transparency and audit — actions your team performs inside a client’s workspace are recorded in the client’s audit log as performed by your organization, and portal Admins have their own audit log covering everything your team did across all clients.

This article covers the Insightful Partner Portal (for MSPs managing client workspaces), not the standard Insightful application.
