The Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin provides deeper insights into user activity and enables more accurate task tracking and automation.
Currently, the plugin is available only for Google Chrome and Edge browsers.
Where to Find the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin

Steps to Install the Plugin
Google Chrome
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.
Step 2: Navigate to the plugin link above and click on it.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the plugin's page on the Chrome Web Store. Click on Add to Chrome.
Step 4: A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Add Extension to complete the installation.
Microsoft Edge
Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge.
Step 2: Go to the Extensions menu by clicking the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and selecting Extensions, then click on Manage Extensions.
Step 3: Enable the option to install extensions from other web stores (found at the bottom of the Extensions page).
Step 4: Visit the Chrome Web Store by following the plugin link provided above.
Step 5: Search for the plugin or use the link above. Click on Add to Chrome (it will install on Edge).
Step 6: Confirm the installation by clicking Add Extension.
Important Notes on Plugin Management
Data Accuracy: If you disable, remove, or perform any other modifications to the plugin, it may cause inaccuracies in the data collected.
Browser Support: The plugin supports installation on either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Active Browser Priority: If the plugin is installed on both Chrome and Edge and both browsers are run at the same time, the browser that captures the active task first will be the one having an active plugin during that session.
How to Check the Version of a Plugin
Google Chrome
In cases when you need to know the version of a Chrome plugin (extension) you have installed, follow these simple steps to find the version information.
Step 1: Access Chrome Extensions
There are two ways to access your extensions:
Using the Menu:
Click the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Hover over More tools and then select Extensions.
Using the Address Bar:
Type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar and press Enter.
Step 2: Find Your Extension
Once on the Extensions page, scroll to find the extension (plugin) whose version you want to check. In this case we are searching for Insightful - Activity attribution. Once you find the extension, click on the Details button below its name.
Step 3: Check the Version Number
Scroll down within the extension details. Look for the Version field. The number next to it indicates the current version of your extension.
Microsoft Edge Plugin
If you need to find the version of a plugin (extension) installed in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps to quickly locate the version information.
Step 1: There are two ways to navigate to your installed extensions:
Using the Menu:
Click on the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner of Edge.
From the dropdown, select Extensions.
Then, click on Manage Extensions.
Using the Address Bar:
Type edge://extensions/ directly into the address bar and press Enter.
Step 2
On the Extensions page, scroll through the list to find the extension whose version you want to check, in this case, we are searching for Insightful Activity Attribution.
Step 3
Once you find this extension, click on the Details button underneath the name.
Step 4
In the details view, scroll down until you see the Version field. The number next to it represents the version of the extension.
Removing the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin
If you need to uninstall the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin from your browser, follow the instructions below:
Google Chrome
Launch the Google Chrome browser.
Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of Chrome to open the menu. Select More tools → Extensions.
Find the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin in the list of installed extensions.
Click the Remove button next to the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin.
Confirm the removal by clicking Remove in the confirmation dialog.
Close and reopen Chrome to ensure that the plugin is fully removed.
Microsoft Edge
Launch the Microsoft Edge browser.
Click on the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of Edge to open the menu and select Extensions.
Find the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin in the list of installed extensions.
Click the Remove button next to the Insightful Activity Attribution Plugin.
Confirm the removal by clicking Remove in the confirmation dialog.
Close and reopen Edge to ensure that the plugin is fully removed.
Troubleshooting tips:
Plugin Not Listed: If you cannot find the plugin in the extensions list, ensure that you have the correct browser and that the plugin is installed.
Uninstallation Issues: If the plugin does not uninstall properly, restart your browser and try again. You can also check for browser updates or reinstall the plugin and then remove it.
