Once you create an Insightful account you want the app to start collecting data for your analysis. To be able to do that you will need to Add employees, and that understands the installation of Insightful desktop app (a.k.a. Insightful Agent).
The Agent is Insightful's core app that captures employee activity on devices and collects data. It enables the visualization and analysis of the data in reports, dashboards, and other Insightful analytics features. Without the Agent installation, no data will be collected and your reports will remain blank.
Adding employees and their devices to Insightful along with the installation of the Agent is a task for organization's Admins or Managers with the needed permissions (whether they are just starting this process or completing it entirely).
Important To Know When Adding New Employees & Devices

Depending on your organization's setup and access to devices, you have multiple installation options:
Manual Installation: Ideal for direct installation when you have physical access to the targeted device.
This process can, when required, be performed as a Silent Installation - if it needs to be invisible to the end user.
Remote Installation: Required when physical access to the targeted device is unavailable.

Remote installation
Insightful desktop app can also be installed remotely. This installation method is required when physical access to the targeted device is unavailable. It is usually preferred by larger organizations that need to deploy the application to a great number of users in bulk.
