Summary

Work Intelligence is an AI-powered view of how work actually happens across your teams: where time goes, what work is duplicated, how AI tools are really being used, and which processes are ready to automate. It is now available to a limited number of companies through the Alpha program.

What is Work Intelligence?

Work Intelligence is Insightful's AI layer on top of your workforce data. Instead of static reports, it answers questions about any team, process, or workflow, so you can go from data to decisions fast. The first use case is AI adoption: understanding who is using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude, how often, and whether it is changing how work gets done. From there, Work Intelligence expands to any workflow you want to understand or improve.

Why it matters

Most companies have rolled out AI tools in the last year but cannot answer whether the investment is working. At the same time, leaders are under pressure to run more efficient organizations, and real efficiency requires data on how work actually happens. Work Intelligence provides that data: it shows where time actually goes, surfaces duplicated work, and identifies the processes where AI and automation can add value, before you commit to automating them.

Who is it for?

  • Executive sponsors (CFO, CHRO, CIO, CTO, COO) who need visibility into how their organization really works as AI reshapes it.

  • Leaders with an active AI rollout who have deployed ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or custom AI tools and have no way to measure adoption or behavior change.

  • Operations and transformation teams with an optimization mindset who want to surface duplicated work, time waste, and process automation opportunities, and are positioned to act on the findings.

What you can do with it

  • Measure AI adoption across your organization: daily AI users, time spent in AI tools, and adoption rates by team.

  • See your AI maturity breakdown, from dabblers to regulars to champions, so enablement lands where it matters.

  • Spot redundant or underused AI tools with a team-by-tool view, and reduce spend on tools that are not delivering.

  • Understand where time actually goes across teams, processes, and workflows.

  • Identify duplicated work and the processes that are ready for automation.

  • Shape the product roadmap directly: Alpha partners define the use cases and reports we build next.

How to access it

  1. Apply for the Work Intelligence Alpha program through your Insightful account manager or our sales team.

  2. If selected, you start with a two week audit at no cost, followed by early access, hands-on training and implementation, and biweekly check-ins with the Insightful team.

  3. Alpha pricing is a simple flat fee based on company size, covering the Alpha period only.

What "Alpha" means for this release

Work Intelligence is in a limited Alpha, available to a small number of opted-in companies. It is not a finished product: reports, capabilities, and the experience will change as we learn from Alpha partners, and we work with each partner hands-on to define their use cases. Alpha partners get early access at locked-in pricing and direct influence on the roadmap. To request access, apply through your account manager or our team; feedback goes directly to the product team through your regular check-ins.

Known limitations

  • Availability is limited to a small number of companies accepted into the Alpha program.

  • AI adoption is the first supported use case; additional reports and use cases are being built with Alpha partners.

  • Capabilities and the experience may change during the Alpha as we incorporate partner feedback.
