InsightsAI is an AI chat feature within the Insightful interface that allows you to ask complex questions related to your Insightful workforce data and get answers without having to dive deeper into the reports throughout the app.

This step-by-step article will guide you on how to work with the first beta version.

Please note, InsightsAI responds to questions related to Insightful data only.


How To Access InsightsAI (Beta)

InsightsAI (Beta) is simple to use. The AI chat button is visible throughout every Insightful dashboard.

Upon clicking on it, the AI chat will appear, and you can type your question related to the workforce:

It may take a few seconds before you receive your answer. In the meantime, there's no need to worry about closing the chat window. When you reopen it, the answer to your last question will still be visible in the AI chat.

How To Work With InsightsAI (Beta)

While we continue to enhance functionality with the help of our beta testers, the current version has certain limitations. Despite these, we encourage you to continue testing it according to your needs. Your feedback is invaluable and will guide the improvement of this feature.

In this early beta version, you can ask 7 prompts and their variations. We aim to broaden coverage in these areas and provide greater flexibility in how questions are asked in the near future.

Even though the range of questions you can ask currently is limited, we encourage you to ask any questions. We will record them for future evaluation and improvement of our AI chat interface.

Supported Questions in The First Beta Version

Currently you can ask 7 questions and their variations:

  1. Which types of work are typically prioritized by highly productive/unproductive employees or teams?

  2. Which applications are used by the most productive/unproductive employees or teams?

  3. What is the productivity trend of the XYZ team over the past 6 months?

  4. Can you provide a list of apps that were used more this month than last?

  5. Which teams have an uneven workload balance?

  6. Which teams require extra staff?

  7. Which employees are at risk of burnout?

Below, we explore how these questions currently function and what variations you can ask. This information will help you leverage them most effectively during your beta testing.

By default, we provide the top 5 categories as an answer. If you wish to see more categories, please specify it further in your question.

With this question, you can ask about the productivity trend of one specific team or multiple teams at the same time, over a minimum timeframe of 4 months.

Q4: Can you give me a list of apps that were used more this month than last?

With this question,we are comparing the app and website usage from the elapsed days of the current month to the equivalent number of days in the previous month.

Example: If you ask the question on May 15th, we will compare the app and website usage for the first 15 days of May with the usage for the first 15 days of April

By default we provide the top 5 apps and websites as an answer. If you wish to see more apps, please specify this in your question.

With this question, you can specify the time frame for comparing app and website usage, such as any two previous months, two specific weeks within those months, or specific days within those months.

Q5: Which teams have an uneven workload balance?

In the first beta version, we assess teams’ productivity percentages over the last 60 days. Teams are categorized based on the following productivity ranges:

  • Teams in the uneven range: Underutilized teams with productivity <75%

  • Teams in the optimal range: Optimally utilized with productivity 75% - 110%

  • Teams in the uneven range: Overutilized with productivity > 110%

Q6: Which teams require extra staff?

In the first beta version, we evaluate the productivity percentage per employee over the last 60 days. If all employees within the team have a productivity level over 80%, we classify the team as overutilized, indicating that they might need additional staff.

By default, we list up to 5 teams. If fewer than 5 teams meet this criteria, we will list only those that do.

Q7: Which employees are at the potential of burnout?

In the first beta version, we examine the productivity percentage of all employees within an organization. If an employee’s productivity exceeds 85% for 4 consecutive days, they are considered to be approaching burnout. Should their productivity exceed 85% for 10 or more consecutive days, they're considered as being in burnout.

Please note that our InsightsAI is powered by ChatGPT, a product developed by OpenAI. While we strive to ensure the privacy and security of your interactions, we recommend exercising discretion and caution when sharing confidential business data online.


FAQ

Can I see my previously asked questions?

In the first beta version, chat history is not supported. Users can view their questions during a session, but if they close the tab or refresh the page, their previous questions will not be visible. Chat history will be available in the second version.

Can I ask continuous questions with InsightsAI?

The first beta version does not support context threading. InsightsAI (Beta) does not maintain or understand context across multiple messages. You can ask separate, individual questions and will receive responses to each. Context threading will be available in future releases.

Can I ask questions about account setup and feature functionality?

No, you can only ask questions related to your Insightful workforce data.

Can I export the answers generated from InsightsAI?

The first beta version does not support exporting questions. This functionality will be available in future releases.

Is there a daily limit on how many questions an organization can ask?

Currently, there is no limit on the number of questions an organization can ask each day, though this may change in the future.

How much will this add-on cost?

We will announce the pricing details soon.

Can managers have access to this feature?

Currently, managers do not have access to this feature, but we plan to include this in future improvements.

Is InsightsAI available in Spanish?

Yes, following the launch of the Spanish translation for our UI, InsightsAI is now available in Spanish.
