In most cases, Insightful is updated automatically without requiring any user interaction. This process occurs silently in the background, ensuring that your application stays up-to-date with the latest features and security improvements. This automatic update mechanism is designed to minimize disruptions and keep the software running smoothly.

However, if you need to perform a manual update of the Insightful application on a personal computer you are using for work, whether for troubleshooting or other reasons, you can do that as well.

To understand if a device needs an update please check what version of Insightful Desktop App (a.k.a. Insightful Agent) is running on it and whether it is the latest one.

As an Admin, you can do that in the Agent version column on your Insightful application's Employees page.
