You can change Insightful settings per your needs and at any time, but the user type is something that can not be that easily changed since the app running on the computer is not exactly the same for personal and company computer users.
In order to have Personal computer user become Company computer user you need to do the following:
Uninstall current Insightful app from their computer and delete workpuls-agent folder
Deactivate the user on three dots far right of the user name >> Deactivate
Go to Employees >> Add new Employees >> Company computer
Get that installation file downloaded and send it to the user to install, or send them the URL link for them to download themselves
After doing the last step you will see the user on your dashboard and it will be company computer user
For Company computer user to Personal transition:
Uninstall current Insightful app from their computer and delete workpuls-agent folder
Deactivate the user on three dots far right of the user name > Deactivate
Go to Employees >> Add new Employees >> Personal computer
Enter email address of the user
User will receive the email and they will have to create their password, download install and log in to the Insightful app. You can check more about employee steps on this link
❗Note: To locate workpuls-agent folder on Windows type %appdata% in file manager’s address bar and on macOS copy paste this path in finder: ~/Library/Application Support/
🧐Good to know: If you wish for the user to work on two devices one being company another one personal skip the first two steps for both scenarios.
❗Note: Data cannot be transferred from one user to another but having a user deactivated will still keep their previous data stored and accessible
