February Product Updates: Stronger Integrations, Smarter Scheduling, and a More Reliable Agent

This month’s updates focus on improving how Insightful connects with your existing systems, simplifying scheduling workflows, and strengthening the reliability of the desktop agent that powers data collection.


⚙️ Major Desktop Agent Upgrade (v8)

The Insightful Desktop Agent received a major upgrade to Version 8, now available for both Windows and macOS.

This update improves:

  • Overall stability and reliability

  • Performance during data collection

  • Core agent functionality

Organizations should review the updated minimum system requirements before deploying the new version.


🔗 Expanded HR & Identity Integrations

We added new capabilities to make employee data synchronization across identity and HR systems easier and more flexible.

New JumpCloud HR Integration

Insightful now supports JumpCloud as an HR integration. Department and Job Title data can be automatically synced and mapped to teams and job titles inside Insightful, helping organizations keep their workforce structure consistent across systems.

Enhanced Entra Integration

Microsoft Entra integrations now support custom attribute mapping, allowing organizations to map Entra custom fields directly to Insightful attributes. This creates more flexibility for syncing employee metadata and lays the groundwork for additional HRIS customization in future integrations.


📅 Smarter Scheduling

We introduced improvements to make scheduling easier to manage.

  • The Expected Break Time field only appears when it is relevant to the selected team or employees.

  • Timezones are automatically pre-filled when creating shifts or time off, speeding up scheduling and reducing manual input.

These changes help ensure scheduling workflows remain clear and efficient.
