System privacy settings on macOS can sometimes prevent Insightful from tracking which websites users have visited.

In such cases Insightful records only the browser used and not the specific visited websites (for example: what is reflected is only the time spent in Google Chrome browser but it is not divided by the time spent specifically on each and every website).

Steps to enable website tracking

To get the website tracking enabled, you will need to do the following on your macOS:

1. Click on Apple menu.

2. Go to Security and Privacy settings.

3. Click on Privacy to get to the Privacy tab

4. Select Automation on the left side of the screen.

5. Check the boxes next to Browser names under Workpuls.
